A letter written to Hon. Rob Renner, Medicine Hat
Why is Alberta making so many cuts when everyone knows that we are going to recover and we need to stimulate the economy not lay people off so more businesses suffer. Stelmach stated that if the price of oil went up we can meet the budget ...it has gone up. If you have spent too much where is the Rainyday fund that has been set up.... Rob it is RAINING. This government is making a big mistake. You are leading the economy back to the Klien days. Ed wants to be the savior like Ralph but it will not happen because you have mismanaged the budget AGAIN and while you do that you give yourselves 26% raises then another 32 % raise. People know it is time to get a government that is concerned about our future not the next 4 year election. Im dissappointed in Iris Evans , she of all people should know that the Health care budget is not a "bottomless pit" like she said. Im dissapointed in the way this government has left seniors at a huge disadvantage with poor quality housing and the allocation of DSL beds to private nursing homes who are not providing safe housing or good care to our seniors. I have decided to remind the older voter that they took a chance 40 years ago and they can do the same now ...They have nothing , nothing to lose and a better drug plan to gain. this goverment should ashamed at what they have done to seniors. They should be ashamed at what they have done to make post secondary eduaction impossible for many capable students. Rob Iam personally disappointed in you. You have tap danced to who ever the leader is . I will never forget your remarks when ED was chosen ....you showed your real colors.
