CAT contacts meeting - Hinton
It is important that we keep the momentum of the campaign going and that we keep the pressure on the government to ensure that our public services are not cut. Rather, we need to work together at a local level to ensure that our level of services is strengthened to a level that is far more acceptable than what we are experiencing now.
I would love to take the opportunity to meet with you on Tuesday evening, March 9, at 7 pm at the CEP 855 Union Hall (10-122 Brewster Drive) so that we can plan the next steps for your local communities. Would you please RSVP at jtoews@afl.org to let me know whether you’d be able to attend? If there is someone else that you know of who would like to join us, feel free to invite them along.
With a smaller group of local individuals, I’d like to be able to define your most crucial local issues and to work towards action that we can use to address them. It will also give us a chance to brainstorm about what other resources we need or whom we should contact. I would imagine the meeting would take no longer than 2 hours.
